1. Our Commitment to Delivery

At Somersand, our logistics match the precision of our designs. Every piece from our design house—whether a garment from our premium plain essentials range, an ultra-limited artist collaboration drop, or a 1-of-1 physical auction masterpiece, is managed, meticulously inspected, and dispatched directly from our operations headquarters in Kempton Park, Gauteng. We do not mass-produce or drop-ship. We ensure that from the moment your order is secured, it is treated with the highest tier of care and security until it reaches your door.

2. Processing & Fulfillment Timelines

Because our product lines operate under different creative and manufacturing models, our overall production and fulfillment times vary. We provide realistic windows to ensure absolute quality control and artistic integrity:

• Plain Essentials Collection: Orders containing our core, plain foundational garments are processed, packed, and delivered within 2 to 5 working days total.

• Artist Collaborations, Limited Drops & Copies: Because these commercial copies feature complex, original human-created artwork, specialized textile treatments, and rigorous numbering and archiving, timelines can vary based on production intricacies. Please allow an estimated 7 to 14 working days for these pieces to be completely finalized, packed, and delivered to you.

• 1-of-1 Auction Masterpieces: High-value auction wins undergo a mandatory white-glove final inspection and are packed into specialized protective housing. These ship within 2 working days via fully insured, signature-required premium courier networks.

3. Domestic Shipping Methods

Once our Kempton Park team finalizes your packaging, your parcel is handed over to our premier domestic courier networks. You can select your preferred shipping infrastructure at checkout:

• Aramex (Priority Door-to-Door)

• Pudo (Door-to-Door)

• Pudo (Locker-to-Locker)

Note: Main metropolitan areas (Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban) typically experience faster transit times within the estimated delivery windows, while regional and outlying areas may require the full estimated duration.

4. Tracking and Archive Verification

Transparency is central to our process. The moment your shipment is scanned into the courier's network:

• An automated shipping confirmation email will be delivered to you containing your direct tracking link and waybill number.

• You will be able to monitor the real-time movement of your parcel from our Kempton Park facility directly to your destination.

5. Shipping Fees

All fulfillment and shipping tariffs are calculated dynamically at checkout based on your delivery address, package volumetric weight, and chosen courier method. Somersand does not implement hidden logistical markups or handling administrative fees.

6. Unforeseen Delays

While we partner exclusively with top-tier courier networks to guarantee prompt arrival, external disruptions can occasionally occur. These include regional courier backlogs, extreme weather events, or public holidays. Somersand cannot be held legally or financially liable for operational delays caused strictly by third-party courier management; however, our dedicated logistics support team will actively monitor, escalate, and advocate on your behalf to resolve any delivery friction swiftly.

7. Address Accuracy & Failed Deliveries

Our courier partners require precise, accurate information to execute successful deliveries.

• Verification: It is the customer’s strict responsibility to ensure all street addresses, postal codes, and contact numbers are input correctly at checkout.

• Rerouting Fees: If a parcel is returned to our Kempton Park headquarters due to an incorrect address, an incomplete location description, or repeated failed delivery attempts where the customer was unreachable, the customer will be liable for the secondary shipping fees required to re-dispatch the package.
